Incorporated in 1999, PharmSys Engineering Consultants, Inc. offers high quality engineering and operations management consulting services. PharmSys is a subchapter-S small business incorporated in the state of New Mexico, USA. As we embark on our tenth anniversary, PharmSys plans to continue expansion of its consulting services within the U.S. and worldwide.

PharmSys primarily works with companies engaged in developing and manufacturing medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals. Our services are widely contracted by manufacturing companies that produce health care products using facilities, equipment and processes that are subject to regulatory audit by the U.S. FDA (Food and  Drug Administration) and compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice). We offer highly specialized consulting expertise to companies manufacturing liquid and lyophilized parenterals via aseptic processing.

PharmSys was founded by Mr. Michael P. King. Mike is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Mexico. Mike has earned the following college degrees:

  • Mechanical Engineering, B.S., University of New Mexico.
  • Mechanical Engineering, M.S., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
  • Business Administration, M.B.A., University of Phoenix.

Mike's professional experience prior to becoming a full time consultant include extensive experience in project engineering related to the scale up and optimization of a variety of aseptic compounding and fill/finish processes. He was previously employed in GMP-regulated companies with responsibilities for managing and supervising functional departments for facilities, engineering, technical services, metrology, maintenance and validations.

Mike maintains professional memberships with the following organizations: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).
